My 30 month period after sale house almost end,and I already remarried. My wife has a rented house with her son's name,and her son is getting married and plan to buy their own home. My question is can I insert my name under the rent house after all her son is going to cancel his name and buy his own house? We can't afford to buy any house to due our age and our pay.

Hi Jamaludin

Based on your situation if the lease is up for renewal you may take over from the son but however the approval by HDB is subjected to overall household income.
