Me (PR for 7 months) and spouse (PR for 2 months) looking for resale HDB. Have cash on hand. Are we eligible to buy? As i understand, PR can only buy resale HDB after both PRs for 3 years.

Dear Sir/Mdm,
HDB is very strict when it comes to enforcing the eligibility conditions to buy. Therefore, both of you will need to fulfill the 3 years of SPR before you are eligible.
You may want to consider getting a private property instead so as to save on your rental and maybe get a HDB sometime down the road. Please feel free to contact me so that I can understand your situation better and provide you with better assistance.
