Good morning,

It is possible for your spouse to purchase resale HDB unit under his name, with you as essential occupier. However, both of you are required to fulfill the 5 years MOP before any of you are eligible to purchase the next property.

Hi,

Yes its possible to put 1 as the owner, and the other as the essential occupier. Do note both parties still have to fulfil the MOP of 5 years before they can purchase another residential property.

- Housing Grant
- Loan Valuation
- Income Ceiling
- Both of you will be consider as first timers in this purchase.

Yes it is possible. However, do take note that as an essential occupier, you will not be able to use your CPF funds to contribute to the loan of the HDB flat.

Also, both of you will be liable to serve a 5-year MOP before you can purchase a private residential property.

Good morning,

Yes it's okay to purchase in that arrangement with your husband as applicant while you as essential occupier.

But do take note you will have to observe the 5 years minimum occupation period as well before you are eligible to purchase a private property and you wont be able to utilise your CPF OA funds in this purchase.

Care to share why do you intend to purchase a resale flat?
