Me and my wife r currently staying with my parents in a 4 room flat. We intend to apply for a 4 room HDB of our own and stay there for 5 years (MOP), shift back to my parent's flat and sublet our entire new flat.

Will the authority grant my application because I do not find any grounds for me to sublet my new flat under the criteria stated i.e overseas work, sick parents, etc.

Hi

The new rulings on 30 August 2010, MOP 5years before you can sublet. So long as you fulfill the 5years MOP, you can apply to HDB to sublet entire flat.
