Me and my husband are looking to buy a new HDB 5 room flat however his SPR application is not approved yet. How can we apply for a new hdb flat? What are the schemes we can go for? Must he be a SPR in order to apply for new hdb? Or in this case we can only go for resale? Need advise.

Afternoon Joanne,

You can apply BTO 2 room flat under non-citizen spouse scheme since your spouse is neither SC nor SPR. If you are looking at bigger unit, you will have to wait for your spouse SPR to be approved or purchase resale HDB unit.
