May I know for first timer buying HDB, how much is CPF grant? Is it eligible for both BTO and RESALE? Is there Income Ceiling limit? Proximity grant is it $20,000? Buying old resale flats, less than 60 years is there a limitation of CPF usage, if so what percentage etc?

Afternoon,

Based on your enquiry, it's obvious that you have limited knowledge on the purchase of HDB unit. As for BTO, housing grant are not applicable as they have being sold at subsidized pricing. Incoming ceiling vary between single scheme and public scheme. HDB unit with less than 60 years lease will have limitation on the amount of CPF which can be used. The percentage usable will be dependent on the unit's age and the applicant's age.
