Hi Mr. Tan,

Unfortunately no, to purchase resale HDB you need to form family nucleus, meaning at least 1 owner + 1 occupier, as hdb sees you and your spouse as one family entity. Both can't purchase 2nd residential property within the first 5 years of getting the next resale HDB due to the MOP period.

Hi Mr. Tan,

1) 1 Family can only own 1 HDB.
2) You and your spouse formed 1 family.
3) In order to buy another HDB flat, you will need to sell the existing BTO.
4) You may buy the resale HDB under 1 owner only, but your spouse will automatically become an essential occupier.
5) Both owner and essential occupier must observe the 5 yrs MOP.
