Dear sir/madam,

The landscape of portfolio structuring may have changed by 2022 according to your MOP. A typical BTO HDB should generate reasonable returns upon MOP therefore if we base on the existing market regulations and sentiments, you should be able to restructure your existing HDB to a private home easily. As for a 2nd property, I always advise to consider more in depth before committing as lifestyle changes, and with rising interest rates, what worked back in 2018 may not be as applicable in 2019.
