Hi Mdm H,

Since you are buying for investment and not own stay, I'd not advise that you do not confine to the above locations only but any properties that give you good rental yield and capital appreciation.

I have a few in mind that fits your budget and would appreciate a conversation to exchange our views on the above locations and my personal recommendation.

For good rental income, it is important to find one near MRT station, or good schools, or vast amount of amenities. 1-bedder and 2-bedders are usually the easiest to rent out.

I have one unit at the Alexis (at Alexandra). 5 mins walk to Q'town MRT. Freehold. 409 sqft, 1 bedroom. Opposite Ikea and Anchorpoint. Less than 10 mins drive to Orchard.

Asking price is now $695k ($1699 psf). Last transacted prices for a 1-bedder in Alexis had hit $1762 psf in July. The other 1-bedder units are between $1720+ psf to $1750+ psf in Aug and July. So my unit is below market price, for now.

Collecting keys in December so prices might go up again.

Call me for a discussion. No obligations to buy anything. :)
