Looking for a 4 or 5 room flat in Cantonment close, but was told that the ethnic group eligibility is and has always been a problem unless I, a chinese, managed to buy a flat from another chinese,

in this case, can i speak to MP and appeal through him to HDB ?

for the past few years, i don't think much malays emigrate to singapore,

so it seems than i cannot get my dream house from there

can anyone advise or help ?

Hi Robin,

I do not think the MP can help you much because this is the rule set by HDB. If they give an exception, the floodgate will open.
