I've got an existing 5-room flat & my intention is to use the sales proceeds for a EC but the 15% sales/CPF are within 2 weeks time. I will only be able to sell my place near TOP. So how do i go about getting a new EC or does this means i can only settle with a resale private?

Dear sir/madam,

You are right basically. The option you have is to settle for something that has already TOPed or resale properties. Why don't you consider looking at 5years old ECs which are still relatively new?
