Is there any MOP requirement for purchasing commercial property

Hi,
There isnt any MOP liability. Neither is there ABSD involved. However, loan may be quite intricate to get around due to tighter regulations for commercial property with TDSR framework.
With that said, commercial properties have a better appreciating scope with high rental yield. In factoring your investment choice, you may have to re look your objectives and quantum. Office or retail or others? You may wish to work alongside someone to guide you by step in assisting to make an informed decision in terms of studying the caveats and pricing to illustrate your potential gain.
