Is there a regulation that a certain batch of HDB flats have to be sold before agents can list another batch? I realized that better units are always posted later immediately after the last “not that ideal” flat is sold.

Hi,

I think you're over-thinking. Agents cannot control when an Owner wishes to sell his flat.

Today, if you're the owner of a HDB flat, and you saw that your neighbour on a lower floor sold their flat at a record breaking price. Will you be tempted to sell your flat at an even higher record? If you are tempted, your unit will be the "better unit" that is posted after the last "not that ideal" neighbour unit is sold.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.
