Is Singaporean Single aged 52 eligible to purchase BTO flat after selling private condo unit? As first time purchase HDB Flat, is there any grant given? Do I need to wait for 15 months before purchasing the HDB flat?

Hi, Yes there will be grants given, however as you are below 55, you will have to wait 15 months before you can purchase a flat. However, if you are looking for grants , you will have to wait out 30months .

If you have recently sold your private condo, you will need to wait-out 30months before can apply for a new BTO (provided you have met the other eligibility criteria).. and wait-out 15mths if you are looking to buy resale HDB.. Hi

You need to wait out 30 months after selling the private property before you are eligible to apply for the BTO flat. For singles 35 years old and above, only eligible to apply 2-room BTO . For resale HDB you need to wait out 15 months after selling private property, before eligible to apply.

In order to purchase a HDB resale flat, the wait out period is 15 months since you are under the age of 55 years old. For first timers, you will be eligible for grant if you can meet the income criteria. If you are looking to purchase a BTO, the wait out period is 30 months after the sale of your private condo.

HDB Eligibility After Selling Private Property:

BTO Application: If you recently sold your private condo, there's a 30-month waiting period before you can apply for a new BTO flat (assuming you meet other eligibility requirements).
Resale HDB Purchase: You can buy a resale HDB flat after 15 months of selling your condo.
