Is it true that if someone buys or owns a flat in overseas (outside Singapore) he/she must surrender HDB flat he/she owns?

Morning,

I'm not sure of your actual condition and situation. But if you have purchased the HDB first and fulfilled the MOP requirement, you are free to purchase private properties, locally or overseas.
