1) Under current Singapore law, a minor is not able to appoint as owner.
2) To buy a property under a minor name is only via setting up a trust. This American citizen minor is not subject to ABSD if this is the 1st property in Singapore.
3) Bank will not support a mortgage loan for a trust.
