Is it mandatory for a buyer of a condo unit, to be charged a commission payable to a property agent irregardless if the agent is acting on behalf of the seller or not?
Am I right to say that this 'rule' applies to HDB transaction only?

Hi Sahri.. it depends on the Agency's commission guidelines. Some, buyers are also paying the 1% commision from buying, no doubt its a HDB or PTE.Thanks. Read More

    So different agencies have different comission guidelines? How is that so?I think paying commission for appointing a marketing agent is justified, but paying a comission as a buyer?? I dont think it is justified...There is always co-broking right??
