Is an 80 year old retired widower eligible to purchase a 4BR executive apt in the HDB resale market? His children lives overseas and a big apt is required so that whenever they visit, he has space to accommodate them.

Afternoon,

If you are SC, you are eligible to purchase up to 4 bedroom 5 room flat. But with your age, you might be required to cash out the entire purchase.
