Hi,
1) It is different for every development on how a 2nd flr looks like. Thus unable to comment.
2) Awning only appear in some of the older development where the ground unit has a big patio that is not an equal size to the balcony on the 2nd level.
3) Newer development does not have an awning problem because the patio is usually the same size as the upper-level balcony.
4) When there is a blockage such as an awning, fringes, unpleasant sight from the unit created by the facade of the building. This is definitely a negative point when you sell.
5) It might be small when you look at the model, but it will be significantly unpleasant when your view is blocked.
