I'm want to apply for PR. If I own a property in India, and ready to sell it soon. Then can I buy a HDB within 1 year, Am I eligible ? What is 30 months clause ? I'm confused should I be able to buy HDB after getting PR or not ?

Morning,

Once you get your PR, you are only eligible to purchase resale unit. The 30 months timeline is applicable for SC, if they are looking at purhcase of new HDB units.
To be eligible to purchase HDB resale unit for PR, you have to be married and both of you must at least be PR.
You can proceed with your PR application and sell away your overseas property at the same time. Upon getting the PR approval, you may then start hunting for the unit that suits your needs.
