I'm sole owner staying with my son (authorised occupier) in a fully paid HDB flat for more than 10 years and also owns a condo. Does my child need to sell the condo if he takes over the flat in future?

Afternoon Anthony,

Being an occupier doesn't render him the ownership of the HDB unit. To transfer the ownership of the unit to him which would make him the legal owner of the HDB unit, he will have to comply with HDB ruling. Thus selling of the condo is essential for the transfer to take place.
