Dear sir/mdm,

As long as you are the primary occupant to the apartment when you are in Singapore, without renting out the entire apartment, your MOP will not be affected.

When getting a BTO, it is also important to note that you are not only obligated to meet the MOP, but during the construction phase of average 3-4 years, you are also not allowed to own any private residential properties (including offshore units).

Hi,

1) You are eligible for 2-rm BTO under Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme.
2) MOP is not affected since you are just away for a short period due to work every year.
3) This is a common trend for most SC whose company is a regional office, thus the HDB understands the need of being away from the country due to work commitment.
4) Your MOP period will remain the normal 5 yrs as others.
