I'm currently looking to get a BTO with my father.But now we are currently living in a resale 3 room flat and looking to do a contra on the new BTO.

i would like to enquire roughly how do we go about the contra since we wouldn't be selling until nearing to completion and what are the different fees involved in the process.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Mason, it is quite a simple process it may seem but the timeline is very crucial if you are doing a contra. You may wish to let me know when would roughly the BTO unit be ready before I could advice further.

Hi Mason, as long as you and your father is able to get the 90% HDB loan (enough cash/cpf for the 10%) and 80% bank (enough cash/cpf) for the BTO + additional 3% stamp duty and renovation costs.
