im applying hfe and hdb asked for cbs report. my cbs grade is 'cc', score is 1829. will it affect my hdb loan amount and worst case rejected? i just clear my debt 2 weeks ago. should i just submit my cc grade cbs report or wait for until cbs report updaty which i not sure when.

If you have funds on hand and do not necessary rely on the housing loan aspect to purchase, it will not matter much about your CBS report. HFE is more towards the eligibility to purchase and loan is part of the assessment. If you only require little to no loan for the purchase, using existing CBS will be okay.

For HDB loans, CBS (Credit Bureau Singapore) grades are considered as part of your overall credit assessment. A CC grade isn’t ideal, but it doesn’t automatically mean your loan will be rejected. HDB will also look at:
• Your recent repayment history (you mentioned clearing your debt 2 weeks ago, which is positive).
• Your income and CPF contributions.
• Total outstanding liabilities.

Worst case, HDB might offer a lower loan amount or require you to top up with cash instead of CPF.

Since you’ve already cleared your debt, you can submit your current CBS report. Waiting for an update is uncertain and may delay your HFE application. It’s better to submit now and provide a note explaining the recent repayment. HDB usually takes recent debt clearance into account.
