I'm above 55 years old and wish to buy a private property. Can I use my Retirement Account to pay for the property? How much cpf do I need to set aside in the Retirement Account? Any restrictions in terms of loan financing?

Hi,

You need to aside the Retirement Sum amount for your cohort before you can use any excess monies for property. Typically banks only loan up till 65 years old, which means a lower amount for your loan attainable.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.
