Hi John,

Unfortunately no as you need to form a family nucleus to buy a resale hdb, she cannot purchase on her sole name. If your name is added to the hdb purchase, you have to sell your condo.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Hi John,

If your wife were to buy a resale HDB, she is required to put your name in as a co-owner. In this case, ABSD is not applicable as you are a Singaporean.

Do take note that you will have to dispose off all interests in your condo within 6 months upon collecting the keys to the HDB.
