I'm a new citizen who's going to buy a resale flat under "non-citizenship scheme" with my LTVP parents with no housing grant applies. I'm single and below 35yrs old now, I was wondering if 2yrs later I decided to get married, am I able to apply for a BTO flat with my SC spouse, and when I have to sell my resale flat, and any fees apply? Thanks

Evening,

You are definitely eligible to purchase resale HDB unit with your parents provided that none of you own private properties, within or out of Singapore. If you have any, it must be sold within 6 months from key collection. With current regulation, you are required to fulfill 5 years MOP before you are eligible to apply for BTO unit with your SC partner. Since you are not using housing loan or grant for the purchase, you are not liable for any levy.
