You can purchase resale HDB unit under non-citizen spouse scheme. However, you will be required to remove the Malaysia property ownership within 6 months from key collection.

Good morning buyer,

Both of you are eligible under non citizen spouse scheme and do take that ONLY your spouse's income is taken into mortgage assessment.

On top of that you will have to dispose off all your overseas properties within 6 months from purchase completion and you have to fulfill 5 years minimum occupation period before you can purchase a private in Singapore or overseas.

By the way, will you be keen in private where BOTH incomes will be taken into mortgage assessment and you wont have to dispose off your overseas properties?
