I'm a foreigner plan to buy a condo with mortgage. What's tax/stamp duty that I shall pay? I'm aware that that for housing loan the down payment is 20%. Can I get housing loan 80% of house price + all the related stamp duties that I must bear ? Thanks

Afternoon Hendri,

Mortgage loan is calculated based on the valuation or selling price of the unit, whichever is lower. Hence things like the 20% downpayment, if this is your first mortgage loan in SG, 15% ABSD, standard stamp and legal fee will be paid in cash.
