Hi Madio, Income ceiling for BTO is $10k which EC is $12k respectively. You can try to appeal for EC purchase if not, you can opt to go for resale HDB or EC. Cheers! Hi Madio, your monthly income has exceeded the income ceiling for BTO, DBSS and EC. If your combined income is $13k, the appeal won't go through from experience. And most developers won't allow you to purchase the EC units (since your income exceeds the ceiling). You have 2 options: bring down your income and keep it under $12k so that you can get an EC. As a commission earner, it might be possible for you to do so. Just note, we take the average of the last 12 months payslips to compute the income earned (including all sales incentives and bonus if you are in sales). Alternatively, you can purchase a resale HDB flat or Private Property as your first home. Given that your income exceeds $12,000, you won't be able to enjoy the CPF Housing Grants for First-timers.
