I'm a 32 single SC, but going to marry to non-SC spouse in 3 months time. Earn abt 2.9k monthly and 50k CPF. Can i know what is the maximum upfront cash I need to prepare in order to buy flat? I'm looking to buy a 3 room flat. Not much cash on hand. What are my chances of getting one?

Morning Kelvin, Do apply for HLE to find out how much loan you can take then we can work things out from there. Hope to hear from you soon! Cheers! Morning Kelvin, Since you are SC and will be buying the HDB under non-citizen spouse scheme, your spouse need to have at least 6 months validity on work pass or long-term visitor's pass. You should also be eligible for HLE, which can help you reduce on the cash outlay. However, for the exact amount for cash required, I would need to know which estate and which unit model you are looking into. Do feel free to contact me for non-obligatory discussion.
