I'm a 30year old single. I plan to buy my first property: a lower range private property for rent for a few years and subsequent self-stay. I'm looking at properties easily accessible via MRT and travel time abt 20min to raffles plc. My budget is more than 550k. My questions are: 1. Assume I have about $40k in my CPF ordinary account. How much cash would I need to come out with? 2. Any other fees/ duties/commission that I should be aware of? 3. As I have just started on a new job with income $5k a month. Will this affect my loan amount as my employment history is short? 4. Any recommendation of the property?
