Hi,

For such cases, you have to apply with HDB and they will assess based on the merits and details of the case. Thanks and hope it clarifies.

Evening,

If you have your unit fully paid by cash and have fulfilled MOP requirement, transfer of ownership should not impact your parents. However, this would be subjected to the fact that they do not have any property in holding, your current unit is not a subsidized unit and they have not taken any subsidized unit from HDB, etc. It would be good to check with HDB on the necessary.

Hi there,

It is possible to perform such transfers, however some qualifying considerations had to be fulfilled.

a. Are your parents eligible to take ownership of the flat
b. Is your fully paid flat met their MOP
c. The recipients will need to pay stamp duty (based on valuation price) on the flat and also legal fees.

I have helped clients in similar situation before and will be able to provide guidance and advice.

Do contact me to have a friendly discussion on how may i assist you further.
