Dear Buyer,
Your options are limited to resale HDB, resale EC, resale condo or a new launch. Actually, my advice to you would be to plan your purchase carefully. Your incomes can only go up in the years to come. As such, you have two options:-
a. Buy a larger condo together, OR
b. Buy a reasonable sized one under a single name, so that the other spouse can invest in a 2nd condo, when you are financially more stable a few years down the road and without paying the 12% ABSD.

1) The chance of success in your appeal is likely to be slim.
2) You can only consider resale EC or a private residential unit.
3) Unless it is a typo error that you are referring to S$14k if your family income is still under S$16k/mth you may also consider new EC.
