IF the purchase price more than valuation price, then the buyer have to pay seller COV in cash. But what if the seller/buyer agree to sell/buy at valuation price but yet to know the valuation price? how to fill in the price in the OTP form? Is there any implication to both buyer and seller if the price entered in the OTP form far exceed the valuation price?

Hi,

If you have concerns about the HDB resale process, you may want to engage a professional agent to clear up all your doubts, so as not to jeopardize the sale process. Thanks and hope to assist with your housing plans further.

Warm regards

Evening,

Based on your enquiry, it would be clear that both seller and buyer are not fluent on the HDB rulings. By proceeding further might result in possible legal complications. Hence I would advise that you engage an agent to assist you on the documentation aspect of the S&P. This will allow both of you to proceed without worries.

Do contact me should you require additional assistance.

Hi, you could try asking a banker to assist in the valuation of the unit that you are interested with but it may not be an accurate figure. It is still advisable to leave the contract signing to the hands of the professional.
