If sole muslim owner of the HDB home is deceased and left with 2 adult children (1 is married but residing overseas and 1 is single staying in SG, both no properties), can the ownership of the deceased home be transferred to both the adult children and only 1 of them live in that home? Will the one who is residing overseas still be able to have the ownership of the house as well?

Hi
Yes, if the sole owner passes on, ownership can be transfrred to both adult children provided both are Singaporeans and did not own any property. However legal processes do apply and for Muslim, muslim inheritence law are taken into consideration. You may also consider adding in both the adult children name as co-owner and when the sole owner passes on, the house will automatically be transferred to the surviving parties.
