Dear buyer,

If I am a buyer right now, I will not opt for the fixed rate at this point of time as the interest rate right now is still considered low. It is always a risk you are taking for such decisions made. There is no perfect solution for everyone. You can perhaps speak to banker to get the banker work out for you what the difference maybe within the 10 years period that you are holding before you make judgement.

Hi, as 10 years is too long a period and clients usually do a refinancing every 3 years, sourcing for the best rates. For Sibor, currently most banks are offering between 0.85-0.9 + sibor which equates to about 1.25% for the next 3 years. If a bank is offering yr 1 @ 1.08% and yr 2 - 1.38% which would you consider?
