if my salary is already over SGD 10k a month, but I have not applied for HDB before, am I still allowed to buy HDB ? and also what sort of restrictions do I have if I'm looking to buy HDB apartments?

You can only purchase resale HDB flat with bank loan.

If you are single SC, above 35 years / SC or PR married to another SC or PR, you are eligible to purchase resale HDB unit with bank loan.
