If, l was divorced and currently awaiting my HDB unit to be sold. Am l eligible to rent one unit from HDB? Was there any guide, criteria or rule state that must sell the old unit than can rent one unit?

Morning,

If you have gone through the seller's checklist, you should understand that you are not eligible to obtain subsidized rental unit from HDB with 30 months from sales of your unit. Alternatively, you can either rent from open market or write in to appeal your case.
