If i have my own buyer agent, at which point in time do i inform the seller agent abt my preference to use my own agent for cobroke.
1) when i first initiate contact with seller agent thru ppty guru, 99co etc?
2) when i go down for first physical viewing (without my own buyer agent)?
3) when i make a verbal offer (say few days/1wk after the first physical viewing)?
4) before i give the cheque (even if seller rejects and i am keen to revise my offer)?
Or any other suitable time frame?
Also, after making my first verbal offer (after 1 physical viewing and whatsapp chat w seller agent via ppty guru) which was rejected, i enquired with seller agent if i can bring on board my own buyer agent but was rejected as i "had not informed right from the start" as claimed by seller agent.. is that the standard practice?? To inform so early beforehand??
