Hi Ms Kia,

You would be able to afford 400k plus HDB flat without topping up cash, provided you can find a HDB unit without COV or below valuation. Legal fees and stamp duty can be paid using CPF funds.

Afternoon Ms. Kia,

In order not to utilize much cash for purchase of HDB unit, you need to fulfill the following requirements:

1) Be eligible for HDB loan
2) Purchase unit that's asking for zero or low COV
3) Managed to get enough loan in respect to the loan period available to you
