Under the scheme, the grant is given to children, who is buying HDB unit within the same estate as your parents, or within 2km distance.
It is stated that the parents cannot move out of the estate or out of the 2km radius. Hence if you have documentation proof stating on your parent's lodging, you would not have go against the rules.
This is provided your parent's unit have fulfilled the MOP period, and they applied for approval for the rental.
