Hi Jessie, I would assume that you are a local and above 35 years of age or planning to purchase a resale hdb together with your fiancé or husband. And yes, you could go ahead to purchase a resale hdb unit first but has to sell off the overseas property within 6 months upon collecting the keys of the hdb unit. Hi Ms Jessie,

Thanks of your post in Propertyguru.

You can still purchase a resale flat in Singapore but you will have to dispose off the overseas property within 6 months from taking possession of your resale flat. Of course when we say dispose, there are many ways and not necessarily you need to sell it off.
