Hi,
1) You have 6 months to dispose of your overseas residential property upon key collection of your HDB purchase.
2) This is applicable to SC and SPR without exception.
3) You may apply under the Public scheme or the fiance/fiancee scheme depends on whether you are married.
4) If you have done your solemnization in Singapore, you will not need to submit your marriage certificate, else, need to submit it within 3 months upon key collection.
5) Since your partner is an SC, you may apply for HLE which is the most helpful for the young couple to start their family, although the interest rate is twice of private banks.
6) Downpayment is 10% for HDB loan, and this 10% can be all CPF and/or grant. This will greatly be easing your monthly mortgage pressure. You may do multiple top-ups during the mortgage period without any penalty or administration charges. Best of all, you can do it at your HDB branch office without worrying about the long queue at the HDB HQ.
