If I am a HDB owner and also have an existing private property as well, after I sell my private property, do i still have to wait 30 months before I can buy a resale HDB (without CPF grant)?

The HDB rule seems to state that the 30 month wait-out period is only if buyer wants to apply for CPF grant.

Hi Ng,

Congratulations for being the envy for most Singaporeans for being able to own 2 properties.

You are right that the 30 months wait out period does not apply to you if you are looking to purchase a resale HDB without any subsidy.

If possible, would you like to share why are you looking at this option and perhaps I may share some of my understanding with you before any decision is made?
