If a I buy a resale HDB now with Family Grant and Proximity Housing Grant, will I still be considered a first-timer when applying for BTO in the future? (By first-timer I mean to be eligible for PPS or MCPS) I won't qualify for the SHG or AHG either way, just want higher chances to get a BTO.

Hi,

Once you have taken family grant for resale flat, you will no longer be considered 2nd timer when you apply for BTO next time.

Good morning,

By utilising the housing grant, it would indicate that you have consume your first timer chance for HDB application. Hence should you opt to purchase BTO in the future, you will be liable for resale levy not be considered as second timer.
