If a hdb block where a PR has got 99 years lease on a flat, if the block i selected for the SERS, what are the options available for a PR as a PR could not own any brand new hbd flat. Thanks for your assistance!

From my knowledge, the rule of not allowing SPR to purchase a flat directly from HDB is not applicable to SPR owners where their house has been announced for SERS. SPR may still be able to opt for a replacement flat albeit with a slight disadvantage as compared to Singaporeans (eg not eligible for SERs grant). Do note that this is applicable only when you bought the flat before the SERs announcement. You may also want to check with HDB if you were in this situation. I am specialised in HDB transactions. 1) Actually this question is best to be addressed by the HDB.
2) According to our knowledge, SPR who owned a flat selected for SERS. The HDB will provide a compensation plan for them to buy another resale flat.
