Hi,
(1) Although the private property was properly paid by your sibling, but you are the legal owner when your name was printed on the title deed.
Thus you are still subject to HDB rules and regulations.
(2) You can only apply for BTO or buy EC direct from developer upon fulfilling 30 months period.
(3) Thus now if you wish to buy a flat for yourself, you can only buy resale HDB flat.
You will have to do the transfer of ownership within 6 months upon getting the key for the resale HDB flat.
(4) At the same time, you also need to fulfill the eligibility scheme spelled by HDB.
