Hi,

Yes there are independent professional valuation firms that can do so at a fee. The fee will depend on the property type and the type of assessment you need. If its a large landed plot or commercial property, it can run up to 4 digits for a comprehensive report. Do note eventually when you sell the property, the buyer or the banks lending the buyer may still do their own independent valuation and need not rely on the outcome of the valuation report you have obtained.

1) All surveyors in Singapore receive their license via the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers
2) You may contact them via https://www.sisv.org.sg/contact-us.aspx
3) You may contact any bank to get hold of a licensed valuer.
4) Do note that the valuation report is meant for reference only and is not valid for any legal transaction.
5) When a buyer wishes to buy a property and apply loan from a particular bank. The bank will send their authorized valuer to do the assessment.
6) The final value from this valuer might differ from the value you received earlier.
7) A private valuation is charging between $200 to $500 for HDB resale flats and strata-titled private properties.
8) $600 to $1,000 for landed houses depending on land and built-up size.
9) It could be more if there are other special requirements apart from the normal valuation report.
