There are various free portals out there for DIY landlord like yourself to post up ads on units available for rent. At PropertyGuru, only RES with paid subscriptions can put up advertisements on the units they are marketing. It is 1 of the high traffic websites for prospective tenants to visit as we have paid high subscription fees to PropertyGuru for them to channel prospective tenants here, therefore the success rates of securing a tenant is good. You may wish to consider appointing someone as your marketing agent while you work to list your property on free portals to try securing tenants on your own too. I believe the most important concern is to get your property rented out as soon as possible at the right rental rate than the amount of commissions payable to a professional which may result you in missing out on months of rental income.
